LUCY BARRY

Principal & Teacher (Street, Cheer, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballet, Singing, Glee)

Lucy started Flair School of Dance in 2004 having worked for many years in various other dance schools across town. She is an acomplished Dancer, Singer & Actress in her own right having taken Trinity Musical Theatre & LAMDA Grades alongside Dance. Lucy is a Licenciate with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) as well as an Associate Member of the British School of Yoga. Lucy has many strings to her bow including an Honours Degree in Physical Education & Sports Science from Loughborough University and coaching qualifications in Trampolining, Gymnastics, Aerobics, Squash, Football & Athletics . Lucy is currently training to be a Pilates Instructor and is preparing to take her Fellowship exam with the IDTA next year. Lucy is recently back from Maternity Leave having welcomed son Dylan into the Flair Family early last year!

AMY CUMBER

Ballet

Having danced with the National Youth Ballet for 9 seasons & a former Birds College student, our Ballet Teacher, Amy Cumber, teaches the IDTA Ballet Syllabus on Wednesdays to our lucky students who get the benefit of her wide and extensive experience.

ALISON HEFFERON

Street Dance, Modern, Contemporary, Glee

Our resident West End Star, Alison Hefferon, is hot off the stage at London's Piccadilly Theatre where she completed a 2 year run as Frenchie in Grease. Alison has returned to our Teaching Team and is keen to share her enthusiasm and energy with everyone; she is a human dynamo with a glowing personality!

JENNA WELLA

Street Dance

Jenna is at the forefront of Street Dance in the UK, dancing with respected Crews and Performers up and down the country. With a background in Gymnastics Jenna has plenty of ‘tricks’ to pass on and a fantastic teaching style that makes even the most complicated of routines accessible to dancers of all ability levels.

CHARLENE WHITE

Hip Hop

Look carefully and you will spot Charlene in various music videos and on TV’s Pineapple Studios, Charlene is a phenomenal dancer who brings the cutting edge in UK Hip Hop to our students on Saturday mornings. No experience necessary, Charlene’s adage is ‘trust me and I will get you there’ and when she does you'll be flying!
